Pronunciation is important for both listening and speaking. This course is designed as self-study to help students understand native English speakers fast speaking styles. As you may have already noticed English speakers blending of words increases, the faster they speak. So, it is important that you can follow what is being said. However, it’s not important that you become a fast English talker, as it is to speak English with clarity. Phonemic symbols allow you to focus on word sounds vs. word spellings. This course will explain and teach the importance of word and sentence stress that will help you improve your goal of greater comprehension. Using text, audio, mouth diagrams and phonemic symbols, you will be able to practice and sharpen your listening and speaking skills.
